This month we were invited by the Law Society Gazette to participate in a roundtable discussion on immigration law with a number of other leading immigration lawyers.
The discussion took place on the same day as the Queen’s speech in which a number of further changes to the immigration system were proposed.
Nichola Carter, the firm’s founder and the only immigration lawyer ranked for advice to the education sector told the Gazette that she would “like to see a period of stability and believes that this is as important to the Border Agency staff – ‘there must have been at least 16 sets of guidance for tiers 2 and 4 in less than five years’”.
