Carter Thomas Solicitors is delighted to announce the opening of a new office in Sheffield.
Based in the exciting Electric Works building at Sheffield Digital Campus, which plays host to many of the UK’s cutting-edge creative, digital and media businesses, our new location will give us easy access to our clients across the north of the UK and Scotland.
UK Visas and Immigration (‘UKVI’) runs the central sponsor compliance unit, with whom we are in regular contact on behalf of sponsor clients, from Sheffield and also operates the modern Premium Service Centre at Vulcan House.
As many Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) applicants will know, UKVI also conducts interviews to assess credibility from the same location and, with our offices only a very short walk away, we will be able to provide the very best hands on service to our clients.
Commenting on the opening of the new office, Carter Thomas’ founder, Nichola Carter said: “These are exciting times. Since opening in London less than two years ago we have been delighted with the support we have received from clients and colleagues across the UK and globally. We’re known for our energy and commitment to getting the right result for clients. More recently though it’s our growing reputation as the go to firm for education providers, SMEs and entrepreneurs, primarily in the tech world, that’s really started to get us noticed as a firm with a different approach, one that seems to just resonate with clients. Sheffield’s reputation as a leading centre for entrepreneurs was highlighted only last month when thousands attended MADE, the UK’s largest entrepreneur event. Being here not only brings us nearer to our clients in the north of the UK but also opens up further fantastic opportunities”.
