In response to a request under the Freedom of Information Act, the Home Office released information on 5 January 2015 concerning the refusal rate of Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) applications processed in China.
The information demonstrates that during the period from April 2013 to March 2014, a total of 415 applications were processed and 280 were refused.
276 applicants were interviewed and of those 199 saw their applications refused.
