Carter Thomas’ Head of Immigration, Nichola Carter, will be co-chairing ILPA’s second Sponsor Licence Law Conference with Joe Middleton of Doughty Street Chambers.
The event will take place on 11 April 2019 in London.
ILPA’s information about the conference states that:
‘Last year’s successful inaugural Sponsor Licence Law Conference provided a space for immigration lawyers across the UK to share experiences and tips on dealing with this complex area of law.
The White Paper on the UK’s future immigration system, published in December 2018, indicates that sponsorship will continue to play a central role in the post-Brexit immigration system.
This year’s conference will therefore include a detailed examination of the current system of sponsorship for businesses, primarily relating to Tier 2 (General and ICT) and Tier 5, and a look at what the future may hold. The speakers will provide highly practical insight and tips from their extensive experience and the day will provide a unique opportunity for those who practice in this area to share their experience and expertise.’
Places are likely to be booked up quickly and you can book yours via ILPA’s website here.
The conference is open to all who work in this complex and interesting field of law.
