The Association for International Student Advisers is holding a training day covering international student employability and sponsor compliance on 13 January 2017.
The theme of the day will be how advisers can help in supporting and highlighting student employability opportunities, whilst staying firmly within the boundaries of Tier 4 compliance.
This is particularly timely in view of the importance to both international students and Tier 4 sponsors in ensuring that students do not work in breach of the conditions of stay and in light of the introduction in 2016 of the criminal offence of illegal working by an individual.
Carter Thomas founder Nichola Carter will be providing tips and advice on measures that Tier 4 sponsors can take to ensure that international students are able to work, whilst also ensuring compliance with the rules and regulations in this complex area of law.
