The UKCISA Annual Conference – a highlight for us and many of our clients in the education sector – is taking place at the University of Exeter during the next three days.
Whilst Brexit will almost certainly be a hot topic for discussion, the packed, varied and exciting programme includes key themes such as Tier 4 immigration compliance, family applications and international student employability.
Nichola Carter of Carter Thomas Solicitors will be presenting two sessions on Thursday, the middle day of the conference. Entitled ‘Tier 4 compliance – minimising risk from the perspective of students, international advisers and sponsors,’ the sessions will explore best practice for managing the various risks that are an inherent part of being a sponsor. Nichola has been advising universities and other education providers on protecting their sponsor licences since sponsorship first began.
If you can’t attend the conference and would like to know more about the issues covered by Nichola in her session, please do get in touch.
