Carter Thomas Solicitors has been recognised in the Chambers and Partners 2025 UK guide. Chambers and Partners identifies and ranks the best talent globally. Our Senior Partner and Head of Immigration, Nichola Carter, was ranked Band 1, and the firm as a whole achieved a Band 3 ranking.

In this year’s Legal 500, Nichola Carter is featured in the Hall of Fame. This recognises lawyers “who are at the very top of the profession, widely known and respected by peers and clients for their longstanding involvement in market-leading work”.
The firm as a whole is recognised for having “extensive expertise advising businesses on how to sponsor workers” and for having “a particularly strong reputation for assisting clients in the education sector on immigration and sponsorship requirements”.
Our Partner, Irfan Ali, was recognised for leading our firm’s business immigration services, with a particular interest in sponsor compliance work. Partner Nick Gore was recognised for his work in advising businesses and individuals on a wide range of immigration matters, including Global Talent in the fashion and arts sector. Our Solicitor Gordana Gligorevic was also recognised, having joined our team earlier this year.
