The Home Office has confirmed that the recently announced India Young Professionals Scheme visa will go live on 28 February 2023, when the first ballot opens.
The scheme, open to Indian citizens aged between 18 and 30 years old, enables successful applicants to live and work in the UK for up to two years.
Whilst the scheme broadly mirrors the Youth Mobility Scheme in terms of age and savings (£2,530), there is one significant difference in that applicants must have a qualification at bachelor’s degree level or above.
