In her latest contribution as an author for the renowned Free Movement blog, Carter Thomas’ head of immigration, Nichola Carter, explains that Tech Nation is to be an endorsing body under the Innovator and Start-up routes.
These new routes were formally announced early in March, as we covered here, and are to appear in the Immigration Rules on 29 March 2019.
Nichola was concerned to note that, according to information on its website, Tech Nation will not be receiving applications from prospective Innovator and Start-up applicants until September 2019, over five months from the date the routes ‘open’.
We are trying to seek an assurance from the Home Office that other endorsing bodies will be ready to receive applications from the go-live date and will update our website when we have further news.
