The Home Office took the opportunity in July and August to update the Guidance it issues to sponsors.
In July, it updated the Tier 2 and 5 Guidance for Sponsors, publishing a first addendum on 17 July and then updating it on 19 July.
In August, the Tier 4 Guidance for Sponsors was updated mainly to include new provisions for sponsors that are registered with the OfS. The updated version can be found here.
The Home Office expects sponsors to comply with the latest version of the relevant guidance. We would therefore recommend that those who manage the sponsor licence take a moment to review the latest version relevant to their organisation. Each contains a section outlining the updates that have been made.
